Tiny’s LEDs SaddleLites
Introducing the Tiny’s LEDs SaddleLites V2, an innovative and elegant solution for adding brilliant RGB lighting to your FPV drone. Designed to solve the challenge of mounting LEDs on the side of a quad, these unique boards slide directly onto your frame’s carbon fiber plates like a saddle. This provides an incredibly clean, lightweight, and durable installation without the need for extra 3D printed mounts or glue.
Innovative “Saddle” Mounting
The “SaddleLite” features a unique U-shaped channel that fits snugly over the edge of a standard carbon fiber arm or plate. This provides a secure, low-profile fit that is hard to damage in a crash. It’s the cleanest possible way to integrate powerful lighting into your FPV drone kit, keeping your build looking professional and streamlined.
Built for Racing Reliability
These LEDs are designed with competition in mind. The board is configured to act as a single LED chip in your flight controller software. This provides a crucial layer of redundancy; if one of the physical LEDs on the board gets damaged during a race, the data signal still passes through to the rest of the LEDs on your FPV drone, keeping them lit. The V2 version also includes a Data OUT pad, allowing you to easily daisy-chain multiple LED boards together.
Simple Betaflight Setup
Configuration is incredibly simple. Despite having multiple physical LEDs on the board, you only need to set up 1 LED in the Betaflight LED strip configuration for the entire SaddleLite to work perfectly as a single, programmable unit.
Important Safety Warning
Due to their power, these LEDs can get very hot during operation. Please allow them to cool down completely before handling your quad. Ensure they are mounted with adequate airflow and away from any plastics or sensitive components that could melt.
