Upgrade your radio to the high-performance ExpressLRS ecosystem with the HappyModel ES24TX Transmitter Module. Based on the popular open-source ELRS project, this module provides an incredibly long-range and low-latency 2.4GHz control link, making it a massive performance upgrade for any compatible radio with a JR-style module bay.
What is ExpressLRS?
ExpressLRS (ELRS) is an open-source RC link that prioritizes speed, latency, and range. It offers packet rates up to 500Hz for a super-smooth, “connected” feel and has a much longer range than many older protocols. This module is the “transmitter” (TX) that sends the signal from your radio to the ELRS receiver in your FPV drone.
Hardware & Features
The ES24TX is built on a powerful ESP32 and SX1280 hardware combination for top-tier performance. It features selectable output power up to 250mW, providing plenty of range for freestyle and racing. This kit comes complete with a high-performance Moxon-style 24TX80 antenna and a 3D printed case for a clean, secure installation in your radio.
IMPORTANT: ExpressLRS Firmware
This module comes pre-loaded with ExpressLRS firmware. To ensure compatibility, you must update both this TX module and your ELRS receivers to the same version of ExpressLRS (e.g., V3.x.x). We highly recommend using the latest version of the ExpressLRS Configurator software to do this. You will also need to set a unique “binding phrase” in the software for all your devices. The firmware can be easily updated via WiFi.
