This module broadcasts your FPV drone’s identification and location information as required by FAA regulations for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). Installing this essential drone part on your custom-built FPV drone kit (over 250g) allows you to fly legally in non-FRIA airspace with peace of mind, knowing you are compliant with current rules.
Seamless GPS Passthrough
Unlike basic modules, the Phoenix UAS Remote ID doesn’t force you to choose between compliance and functionality. It is designed to connect between your existing M10 GPS module and your flight controller. The passthrough feature ensures your flight controller still receives all the necessary GPS and compass data, so you don’t lose critical features like Return-to-Home, GPS rescue, or on-screen coordinates.
Flexible Power & Mounting Options
Designed with the FPV builder in mind, this module offers multiple power options. You can power it directly from a 5V pad on your flight controller, or use a small 1S LiPo battery to turn it into a completely self-contained, transferable unit that can be moved between different FPV drones. At only 2.2 grams and with a tiny footprint, it can be easily mounted inside almost any frame.
Important: What You Need
Please note that this is a broadcast module and does not have its own internal GPS. It requires a user-provided M10 Ublox-based GPS module to receive location data, which it then broadcasts for Remote ID compliance.
