iFlight Smart Smoke Stopper (XT60 to XT30)

This compact device goes between your battery and your drone to limit the current during the first power-up. If it detects a short circuit or a wiring mistake, it instantly cuts the power, saving your expensive flight controller, ESC, and VTX from permanent damage.
How It Works
Using the smoke stopper is simple. Plug your 2S-6S LiPo battery (with an XT60 connector) into the input, and plug the smoke stopper’s XT30 output into your drone. When you power on:
- Solid Green Light: All systems are normal! The current draw is low, and your electronics are safe to proceed.
- Light Goes Out & Beeping Starts: DANGER! A short circuit has been detected. The resettable fuse has tripped, cutting power. Unplug your battery immediately and troubleshoot your build.
