Introducing the Mr. Steele V5 SILK motor, the latest evolution of one of the most iconic motors in FPV freestyle. This fifth-generation motor builds upon the legendary “SILK” smoothness and refines the trusted power train formula with significant upgrades in durability, power, and efficiency. It’s the ultimate motor for pilots who demand a premium, no-compromise flight experience.
The V5 features a larger 2307 stator, providing a noticeable increase in torque and power. This gives the motor more authority to handle heavier 5-inch to 5.5-inch propellers and gives pilots more confidence when flying with an HD camera. The motor base and bell have been completely redesigned with durability and smoothness in mind, featuring a robust 16x16mm mounting pattern and improved assembly tolerances.
Crafted with thick single-strand copper windings for increased efficiency and power, the V5 is a gem of a motor. It also includes redesigned, interchangeable motor “pants” that are thicker and more resistant to crash damage, offering superior protection to the motor windings. Despite these durability upgrades, the motor only sees a slight weight increase over previous versions, maintaining an excellent power-to-weight ratio. Built with premium N52SH magnets and large 9mm NMB bearings, the V5 delivers the smoothest, most reliable performance in the Steele motor lineup.
