BQE Bandolero 5″ Freestyle Frame
Born from a collaboration with legendary pilot Jeff “Vort3x” Orta, the BQE Bandolero is a 5-inch freestyle frame purpose-built to dominate rugged environments. Engineered to excel in abandoned factories and concrete wastelands, this frame focuses on three things: extreme durability, a low center of gravity, and easy maintenance. It’s the ultimate machine for hardcore freestyle pilots.
The Bandolero is unapologetically beefy. It features thick, 4mm carbon fiber arms that can be replaced easily in the field without disassembling your electronics stack. The front end is protected by an integrated 30-degree bumper, perfect for mounting a GoPro at an ideal angle while also reinforcing the camera cage. With premium touches like factory-pressed stainless steel threaded inserts, this frame is built to withstand serious abuse.
Performance is driven by its super low-profile design. With a deck height of only 12mm, the Bandolero has an exceptionally low center of gravity, resulting in a stable, responsive, and locked-in flight feel that is perfect for sharp, aggressive maneuvers. One of its most unique features is the integrated translucent “trunk,” a rear compartment perfect for housing LEDs for a bold tail light or for cleanly mounting your VTX or receiver. The kit includes two different antenna mounting solutions, damped camera mounts for both full-size and micro cameras, and everything you need to build a top-tier freestyle rig.
